The Skills Bank

Skill Bank

The Skills Bank and Availability Register: Upon successful completion of the training and having obtained a final Certificate, Stellar Graduates will be admitted into the Skills Bank. Those Stellar Graduates that wish to be considered for work will indicate their preferred employment sector or industry and will provide details of their availability for any opportunities arising. The Availability Register categorizes Stellar Graduates according to academic qualification, core skill or technical area and is regularly updated to account for any changes in the personal details or circumstances of Stellar Graduates.

When an SRN Partner has need of a Stellar Graduate and makes a request, the SRN will assess the Partner’s requirements and then proceed to make recommendations for the Stellar Graduates that are a best match for the internship or employment opportunity, provided that they are available to take up the work. Such match-making is undertaken at no cost to the Stellar Graduates.

How to Join

To join The Skills Bank which comprises the resource pool of employable youth under the SRN, graduates must have undertaken the Stellar Graduate Professional Programme conducted by the SRN in association with the Ghana Institute of Consulting. At the end of the one month’s training, students must take an examination to qualify for the Stellar Graduate Certificate which entitles a graduate student to be admitted into The Skills Bank.
